YOU ARE CLOSER THAN YOU THINK!

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Galatians 6:9 (KJV)

The reason why many get depressed is because they fix their eyes on what is happening in the present and not on the glorious future God has prepared for them (Heb. 12:1-2).

Have you been praying and trusting God for something that seems like it’s taking a lot longer? Is it Breakthrough? Job? Promotion? Healing? Marriage? Children?

Many times, people can miss God’s best simply because they give up before they see their “due season” come. Don’t let that be you! Be encouraged today, your answer is closer than you think. If it seems like things are getting more difficult, remember, when the intensity heats up, that means you are closer to your victory. It is always darkest just before dawn.

Remember, you serve a faithful God, and He’s working behind the scenes on your behalf. Don’t cast away your confidence, because your reward is coming (Heb. 10:35). And just like a new mother forgets about her labor pain when she is finally holding her newborn, you’ll forget about your struggle when you are holding on to your answers.

While you are waiting, keep an attitude of faith and patience (Heb. 6:12). Don't rush to the conclusion that God has forgotten you. When it seems like God is coming too late, He is coming in a big way. Wake up every morning and say out loud, “I’ve come too far to give up now. My due season is coming. I will reap my harvest.

What you are going through now cannot be compared to what God is planning for you (Rom. 8:18). Stay in faith and keep trusting Him for the blessing He has promised, because you closer to your Breakthrough than you think!

This September will deliver into your hands your long-awaited answers in Jesus' name. Congratulations!!!

DISCIPLINE; KEY TO STARDOM

“Favour will take a man to the top but it is DISCIPLINE that will keep him there”.

 (1Cor. 9:27) But I keep under my body, and bring [it] into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

What is Discipline?

Ø A Conscious control over your lifestyle.

A disciplined man is someone that has absolute control over his behavior, action, life etc.

Ø Discipline is doing the right thing at the right time and the rate it should be done.

It is indiscipline to be reminded about your assignment. It is indiscipline to do the work you are paid for sloppily or not do it at all.

Ø It is the ability to train / bring yourself to doing what you know is right to do.

It is indiscipline to bring phones to fellowship/church and leave them on sound.

Ø Discipline is bringing your body and soul to be subject to the dictates of the Spirit by the Word of God.

The Holy Spirit in you is to destroy the roots of indiscipline! You don’t have any excuse for not being disciplined!

EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE THAT MORTGAGED THEIR DESTINIES ON THE PLATFORM OF INDISCIPLINE

a.      Saul the king:  His tribe, Benjamin was the least in Israel. He went to look for his father’s lost asses but got the throne. He was the very first king of Israel, What a CV! But he messed up at the top because of Covetousness and Disobedience! Read about the rise and fall of King Saul from 1 Sam 9, 10 and 13, 15. This is a story every man aspiring for greatness must read!

b.     Samson: Had a very promising destiny as pronounced right from the womb but his inordinate desire for women brought him down and prevented him from fulfilling destiny! You will not crash in Jesus name! Read the story of Samson from Judges 13-16.

c.      Adam and Eve: This couple can be said to be guilty of abuse of privilege. God put them in a garden where everything was made available but they had eyes for what was not made available! They were covetous, therefore they crashed! That will not be your portion in Jesus’ name!

EXAMPLES OF MEN WHO ROSE TO STARDOM ON THE PLATFORM OF DISCIPLINE

1.     Joseph (Genesis 39:7-9): He refused to sleep with Potiphar’s wife because he could control his sexual emotions. Some of us have riotous emotions that we need to tame! Be a Joseph, not an Amnon! He could have slept with her without anyone knowing but he knew better! Such moves, do not endure! God lifted him beyond Potiphar’s wife’s imagination! Wake up! Your path to the top can never be through indiscipline because the Word of God cannot be broken!

2.     Daniel (Daniel 1:8, 6:4-5): Daniel determined, despite the availability of plenty of food which was his right that he will not defile himself. That your uncontrollable appetite or food is cursed in Jesus name because that is the reason why your growth has been stunted! He had a flawless appraisal! They could find no occasion to nail him! Strive to operate at that level. God lifted Daniel from being a common slave to a Governor!

God loves discipline! 

 

Indiscipline is a killer of destiny, BEWARE!

OUR TESTIMONY

.....for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. (Revelation 19:10)

Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. (Isaiah 8:16)

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; (Revelation 12:11)

Welcome back after a long while! I will like to start this new era with this awesome testimony GOD gave to us to energise your faith and know that we serve a GOD of on-time. Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul. (Psalms 66:16)

We have been married for three (3) years, within this period, my wife has had 3 miscarriages and we lost a baby boy born full term the second day of his birth. We have prayed, fasted, engaged the mystery of the kingdom severally but nothing seems to be happening. People have turned us into a laughing stock, some even said it to our face. One moment, my wife’s tummy is protruding and the next moment, it’s flat again.

Early January 2012, we were observing a 21-Day Prayer and Fasting Programme when the enemy struck again. My wife came back from work and noticed a stain of blood on her pant, she was scared because it was not time for her period. She called me and I told her to go straight to the hospital. The doctor confirmed that she was pregnant (which we never knew) and that it was a threatened abortion. I rejected it and told the devil that he came too late.

That night, I prayed, worshipped and praised GOD earnestly, speaking the WORD violently and claiming every word my father in faith (Bishop David O. Oyedepo) prophetically spoke to us during Shiloh 2011. The oppression ceased.

Throughout the period of the pregnancy, there was no complications of any kind and to GOD be all the glory, on the 13^th of August, 2012, GOD gave us a bouncing baby girl.

Behold our miracle baby, ESTHER, ARAOLUWA, DOMINION, AYOMIDE, CHIBUCHI, OROLUWAKIYE ADEFILA.

Listen people, God is never late (Num. 19:23). Whatever He has spoken, He will bring to pass. Just few days ago, a couple who have been waiting on GOD for 14 years was blessed with a beautiful girl. Don’t lose faith, hold on to God, take a cue from Abraham (Rom. 4:19-20).
